THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE CAMP
Plett Padel Camp was born from a friendship between two padel lovers — one who owns a stunning lodge on the Garden Route, and one who knows how to run a world-class padel camp.

Axel at La Vista Lodge · Plettenberg Bay
Axel owns La Vista Lodge — a boutique property perched above Plettenberg Bay with sweeping views across the lagoon and mountains. A passionate padel player, he has followed the sport to World Padel Tour events and brings an insider's love for the game to every camp. His home, his courts, his hospitality.

Max & Axel · Milan
Max is a certified padel coach and experienced camp organiser based in Germany. He has run padel camps across Europe and brings the structure, coaching expertise, and logistics know-how that turn a great idea into a seamless experience. On court, he's hands-on, encouraging, and deeply knowledgeable about the game.
HOW IT STARTED
Max and Axel met through padel — as tends to happen with people who are serious about the sport. Their friendship grew at courtside, at Premier Padel events, and during travels that inevitably led to long conversations about what the perfect camp would look like.
The answer was clear: La Vista Lodge in Plettenberg Bay. Max's coaching credentials and camp experience combined with Axel's location and hospitality made for a natural partnership. The result is a camp that's equal parts serious training and unforgettable experience.
